University of South Carolina System Libraries

As a student of the University of South Carolina, you are welcomed and encouraged to make use of the University's libraries. If you need library materials and are within a reasonable distance of one of the libraries listed below, please call or visit for assistance. Some libraries offer more services than others do, and there may be costs associated with these services, so please ask about options.

If you are a distance education student and do not have a semester long bar coded borrowing card, contact Distance Education (1-800-922-2577) and one will be mailed to you. You cannot check out USC library materials without proper identification. Please note that there may be special ID requirements for some campuses. Please contact the USC campus library that you intend to use to learn about special requirements.
