Indexes

American Statistics Index (ASI): comprehensive index to federal government statistical information. Statistical publications not distributed through the Federal Depository Library Program are received as part of the ASI non-depository microfiche collection. Located in the Documents/Microforms department.
Census Index: index to primarily print census volumes from 1790-present. Census volumes indexed are available in the Documents department.
Index of International Statistics (IIS): index for international statistics is also available in the Documents department.
Index to Current Population Reports: indexes CPR reports on population characteristics, consumer income and poverty, special studies. Recent reports available on the Internet. Older reports available in the Documents department.
Guide to State Statistical Abstracts: state publications similar to the Statistical Abstract of the United States for individual states.

Agriculture

Agricultural Market Access Database: International data on tariffs, quotas, import volume and value and more.
Agricultural Statistics: single volume anuual compendium of U.S. agricultural statistics on production, supplies, consumption, facilities, costs, and returns.
Census of Agriculture: 1992-.
FAOSTAT: International statistics on production, trade, food supply, fertilizer and pesticides, land use and irrigation, forest products, fisheries, population, agricultural machinery, food aid shipments.
National Agricultural Statistics Service: National, state and county level statistics on farms and farm economics, livestock, agriculture, commodities and crops. Currrent and historical.
Nutrient Content of the U.S. Food Supply: "provides per capita estimates for food energy and the energy-yielding nutrients-protein, carbohydrate, and fat-as well as for total fat; saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fatty acids; cholesterol; dietary fiber; 10 vitamins; and 9 minerals. Additionally, nutrient estimates are provided for 19 individual fatty acids for the years 1980 through 1999". 1909-
State of the Land: data and analysis on land use, soil erosion, water quality, wetlands, and other issues regarding the conservation and use of natural resources from the USDA.
U.S.D.A. Economics and Statistics System: "contains nearly 300 reports and datasets from the economics agencies of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. These materials cover U.S. and international agriculture and related topics. Most reports are text files that contain time-sensitive information. Most data sets are in spreadsheet format and include time-series data that are updated yearly."

Crime and Justice Atlas: graphical presentation of trends in crime and sentencing over the last 25 years for the U.S. and individual states. Included with each state’s data is a list of significant justice system initiatives implemented in the state since 1975.

National Archive of Criminal Justice Data: part of the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) archive. Some data available through an online analysis system or for downloading. The Research and Data Center provides support for ICPSR data at USC.

Sourcebook of Criminal Justice Statistics: statistics on the criminal justice system, arrests, offenses, public attitudes to crime, processing of defendants, parolees and prison inmates.
