UNEP.Net: the United
Nations Environment Network portal brings together research
from industry academic institutions, government and
non-government organizations. It provides national and
regional environmental profiles, early warning of natural
disasters and an atlas of protected areas. Special
applications include mapping tools for displaying
information on African tribes, indigenous peoples and
ecosystem boundaries, nuclear power sites worldwide and
global coastal statistics.
