The USC Newsfilm Library has now made its inventory control database accessible to faculty, students and staff of the University. This is an incomplete, "working" database of unverified items within various news, local television and home movie collections, spanning portions of the twentieth century. The inventory control database contains descriptions for materials that may not actually exist within our collections. This information is subject to change without notice and is not guaranteed to be complete, accurate, consistent, or reliable. Some materials may be unavailable due to financial, technical, or legal circumstances. Generally, there will be considerable delay in processing requests for these materials for the reasons just cited. The information in this database will no doubt be most useful as a research or reference resource. On campus members of the University community can access the inventory control database by clicking here. Because the database is restricted to USC faculty, staff, and students you will need to follow the directions for setting up your browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer) for off campus access.
