Collaborative Initiatives

One of our goals is to develop collaborative teams and facilitate the proposal development process. To assist research teams in the development of collaborative proposals, the Research Development team:

• facilitates preliminary meetings among research units
   
• assists with the identification of collaborators and development of partnerships
   
• explores funding opportunities in the University's research thrust areas
  
  • Biomedical
  • Nanotechnology
  • Future Fuels
  • Information Computing
     
• directs the proposal development process by creating timelines, organizing the proposal sections, and coordinating the proposal submission
   
• interacts with sponsors to provide guidance
