  • Take I 20 East toward Florence (Exit 107B)
  • Go about 8 miles
  • Follow directions below for “From I-20”

From I-26 (coming from the Lowcountry):

  • Take I 77 North toward Charlotte (Exit 116)
  • Follow directions below for “From I-77”

From I-20:

  • Take Exit 72, Farrow Road
  • Go north (left) on Farrow Road
  • Go not quite 1½ miles (pass Crafts Farrow and the State Credit Union)
  • See a green sign on the right that says “Midlands Center”
  • Turn left at the entrance to Midlands Center onto Azalea Avenue
  • Stay on Azalea
  • Pass Crape Myrtle Drive on the left and MC Evergreen Drive on the right
  • Turn left onto MC Poplar Drive
  • Go in the entrance of the Developmental Pediatric Clinic
  • The AT Resource Center is across the hall from the waiting room – Room A 128

From I-77:

  • Take Exit 19, Farrow Road
  • Head south (right) on Farrow Road
  • In a little over a mile, see a green sign on the right that says “Midland Center”
  • Turn right at the entrance to Midlands Center onto Azalea Avenue
  • Stay on Azalea
  • Pass Crape Myrtle Drive on the left and MC Evergreen Drive on the right
  • Turn left onto MC Poplar Drive

  • Turn left at the top of the ramp onto Parklane

  • Stay on Azalea

SC Archives and History Auditorium

Located at the corner of Parklane and Farrow Roads. The building is 8.5 miles north of downtown Columbia, off Highway 277, near the intersection of Interstates 77 and 20. Ample Parking is available on the Parklane Road side of the building.

From 277:

  • Take Bull Street (Highway 277 North) eight miles to the Parklane Road exit
  • At the traffic light turn left onto Parklane Road
  • Cross the bridge and the History Center is on the left

From I-77:

  • Take Exit 18, Highway 277
  • Then take the Parklane road exit
  • Turn right on to Parklane Road and the History Center will be on the left

From I-26 (coming from the Upstate):

  • Take Exit 107B I-20 East
  • On I-20 East take Exit 73B I-77 North/Highway 277 North
  • Take the Parklane Road exit off Highway 277 North and turn left at the traffic light
  • Cross the bridge and the History Center is on the left

From I-26 (coming from the Lowcountry):

  • Take Exit 116 to I-77 North
  • Off of I-77 North take Exit 19 Farrow Road (Highway 555 South)
  • At the traffic light on Farrow Road turn left onto Parklane Road
  • The History Center is three tenths of a mile on the right

I-20 (Augusta):

  • Take Exit 73B I-77 North/Highway 277 North
  • Take the Parkland Road exit off Highway 277 North and turn left at the traffic light
  • Cross the bridge and the History Center is on the left

  • Go past Columbiana Center shopping mall on your right.
  • Turn right at the light at St. Andrews Road.
  • Irmo High School is immediately on your left.

The workshop will be held in a computer lab on the second floor in the Annex building immediately after the main Irmo High School building. You can park between the two buildings or in front of the school.

From I–77:

  • Head south on I–77
  • Slight right at SC-277 S (Exit 18) – Go about 6.6 miles

  • From I-26 follow I-126 into Columbia & then take Elmwood Avenue into Columbia
  • Turn left at Bull Street
  • Turn right at the first light onto Colonial Drive
  • Stay on Colonial Drive & cross Harden Street & then turn left at the next light as Colonial changes direction (with turn arrow).
  • The Family Medicine Center is on the left at the next traffic light - turn left in front of our building just before the light & then cross the street into the fenced parking lot.
  • Enter front of building & come upstairs to the 2nd floor lobby area & enter the main conference room

From I-26 (coming from Lowcountry):

  • Take I-26 to Columbia and take exit 108 Columbia/I-126
  • Follow I-126 into Columbia & then take Elmwood Avenue into Columbia
  • Turn left at Bull Street
  • Turn right at the first light onto Colonial Drive
  • Stay on Colonial Drive & cross Harden Street & then turn left at the next light as Colonial changes direction (with turn arrow)
  • The Family Medicine Center is on the left at the next traffic light - turn left in front of our building just before the light & then cross the street into the fenced parking lot.

From I-20 (coming from Augusta or Florence):

  • From either I-20 East / West - take the SC-277 Columbia exit
  • Take exit 16 (Sunset Dr/Beltline Blvd)
  • Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto Sunset Drive
  • The Family Medicine Center is approximately ½ mile down on the right at the corner of Academy & Colonial -- it's a two-story brick building
  • To park: either turn right onto Grand Street just before our building & then turn right into the fenced patient parking lot or turn right at the traffic light & then turn right in the driveway in front of our building & continue across the street into the fenced parking lot
  • Enter front of building & come upstairs to the 2nd floor lobby area & enter the main conference room

From I-77:

  • From I-77 take exit 18 for I-20 West toward Augusta/SC-277
  • Merge onto SC 277 South
  • Take the Farrow Road/SC 555 exit
  • Turn left at SC 555 South/Farrow Road onto Sunset Drive
  • After about 260 feet turn right onto Grand Street
  • The Family Medicine Center is on the left. To park, turn right into the fenced patient parking lot
