Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures

French

Whether you're pursuing a degree or just interested in improving your French, our program offers a wide range of dynamic and innovative courses to help you accomplish your goals. You can learn French collaboratively with students in France, act in a French play, debate the latest French on-line news, review recent films from Africa, explore current trends in children’s literature, put together a French CV or even (finally) master that French “R.”

Why Study French?

As a French student, you'll gain the language skills you need to travel abroad and give yourself an edge as a double major in subjects like international business. You'll find our small class sizes and involved teachers are a great resource when it comes to learning the language.
