Career Center Presentation
This presentation strives to make students aware of a resource area on campus which can assist them from pre-entry through post-graduation with a variety of career needs which will change throughout their academic tenure. It also introduces career development to students during their first year to help them begin important long-range planning necessary for successful transition into graduate school or the world of work. These components are accomplished during a 75-minute presentation during which students will be introduced to a career decision-making model to help them decide on or to confirm a decision about a major, learn about career center resources to assist them throughout their tenure at USC, and tour the Career Center Library. The Career Center staff looks forward to hosting University 101 classes as it gives first-year students a chance to begin assessing their interests and learn about resources early enough in their college years to take full advantage of them.
