As of August 1, 2005, USC Vehicle Management will no longer offer short-term (daily motorpool) rental of University vehicles. This service will be offered by the State Fleet Management Office, which is part of the General Services Division of the South Carolina Budget & Control Board. We hope to make this transition as convenient as possible. As more information becomes available, we will post it here. Buses and drivers will still be reserved through USC Vehicle Management.

Any reservations that have already been made with USC for dates after August 1 WILL be honored by State Fleet Management.

Driving records that have already submitted to Vehicle Management will also be honored by State Fleet Management. Those individuals will be approved to drive.

Departments renting State Fleet Management vehicles will be asked to provide a valid account and fund for billing purposes. Charges will be posted on a monthly basis. These charges will show up on the departmental report.
