Scholarship Information: We have tried to plan our dates and deadlines in consideration of scholarship award notifications. The Scholarships & Financial Aid page on the Study Abroad website is a great starting point and offers many more scholarship possibilities (like Undergraduate Departmental Scholarships). Some highlighted scholarships to consider are:

Passport Travel Grant: You must apply by the posted deadline, prior to the Maymester/summer you plan to study abroad. You can apply for the award multiple times, however you can only receive the award once. You cannot delay the award; it must be used for the Maymester/summer listed on your application. Awards are between $1500 and $2000. Application forms and more information can be found here: Passport Travel Grant Information

Beyond Boundaries: The Beyond Boundaries Award is a financial award of $2000 or more to be used to help fund a Maymester/summer study abroad experience. The goal of this scholarship is to help students from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in study abroad to make an overseas experience possible. Traditionally underrepresented students include but are not limited to the following:
o students with significant financial need
o students from diverse ethnic backgrounds
o students with disabilities
o first-generation students (those whose parents have not obtained a college degree)
o students in fields of study underrepresented in study abroad (ex. Sciences, Engineering, Math, etc.)
o students in the Gamecock Guarantee program at USC
Application forms and more information can be found here: Beyond Boundaries Award Information
