  • Don’t know your PIN? Students should contact the Registrar’s Office; faculty and staff should contact your departmental Human Resources Representative.
  • There is an option to use a My VIP ID that is not your social security number. This new ID number is automatically generated for active students, staff, and faculty members and is a unique and permanent number that identifies each member of the University community. It is NOT your Blackboard username.
  • To find out your 8-digit My VIP ID, you must initially log on to VIP using your USC Identification number (your Social Security Number) and PIN (the 4-digit number), and from the personal link, establish a password to accompany the My VIP ID.
