About the Presenter
With over 20 years of experience in higher education administration at USC, Renee Shaffer has worked for the past seventeen years in the designing, teaching and managing of various types of e-learning courses and programs. As the University Technology Services’s (TTS) instructional designer, she assists faculty statewide with the design, development, implementation and evaluation of online courses, the use of innovative technology in the classroom, as well as improving student engagement in education. Her university teaching experience includes University 101 and leading training sessions in Blackboard as well as other technology-based teaching and learning tools for USC faculty, staff, and graduate students.
