The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships is committed to assisting you and your family so that cost will not affect access to your college of choice - THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA!
It is our office's mission to educate and assist students and their families in securing the funding that they need. To that end, approximately 85% of our undergraduates, 91% of our freshmen, and 87% of our total student population – including both South Carolina residents and non-residents - receive financial aid. This aid, in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and employment opportunities, can assist you in meeting your educationally related expenses. We encourage you to pursue and consider all of the financial assistance opportunities that are available to you.

- Important Information About One Carolina and Your 2013-14 Financial Aid and Scholarships

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships has now gone live in the new One Carolina student information system. Parents and students who completed a FAFSA for the 13-14 school year can now begin to view the status of their application on the Self Service Carolina (SSC) website. As with all new systems, it will take some time to smooth out the rough edges. Please be patient and know that our staff will be working hard to answer all of your questions.
