COMD 754 - Aural Habilitation of Children
Class Session: Tuesday, January 16, 2018 - Monday, April 30, 2018
Credit: 3 semester hours of graduate credit
Prerequisites: COMD 501, COMD 504, and COMD 750 or their equivalent.

Effects of severe-to-profound hearing loss on a child's total development (linguistic, intellectual, social, and educational). Communication assessment and case management, including parent training, education, and counseling.
This course utilizes video streaming supplemented with Blackboard. Students can access lecture materials through Blackboard. High-speed internet access is required for video streaming.
Course Delivery Type
A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
(100% asynchronous - if course has any online or face-to-face meetings, live attendance will not be required. For any such sessions, there will be alternative ways to view or obtain the material covered).
