Jenna was born and raised in Pennsylvania and has also resided in Baltimore, Maryland. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Bloomsburg University and is completing her master’s in Experimental Psychology from Towson University. Her psychology research background includes studies that range from exploring how cell phones affect our memory and attention to researching ADHD and PTSD. Jenna studied abroad for a summer in Italy to discover “The Pursuit of Happiness” (spoiler alert: she found it) in regards to positive psychology. She previously assisted faculty in developing and implementing a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice PhD program within the psychology department at Towson University. Jenna took on the role as the head of her cognitive psychology lab, where she had the opportunity to showcase her passion for mentoring and training other students.

Jenna looks forward to enjoying the sunshine and culture of the south! Outside of the office, she is an avid reader and enjoys cooking and baking. She previously managed a Chesapeake cuisine restaurant, which encouraged her interest in the southern food scene. Her favorite bragging right is that she was nominated as ‘Best Server in Baltimore!’ She also puts her energy into being an active advocate for mental health and suicide prevention/awareness. Jenna is a proud pet parent to her two goldendoodles, CiCi and Roo, who she is excited to introduce to South Carolina’s mountains and beaches.
