Four professors selected as SEC Academic Leadership Development Program fellows

Four University of South Carolina faculty members have been named as Southeastern Conference Academic Leadership Development Program fellows for 2014-15.
Christy Friend, Center for Teaching Excellence in the College of Education; Augie Grant, journalism; Robert Ployhart, business; and Sara Wilcox, Prevention Research Center in the Arnold School of Public Health will participate in SEC-wide workshops Oct. 13-15 at the University of Missouri and in February at Texas A&M University.
The professional development program prepares fellows to advance into academic leadership positions within SEC universities and beyond.
