NSF: Materials Innovation Platforms (MIP) NSF 19-526Materials Innovation Platforms (MIP) is a mid-scale infrastructure program in the Division of Materials Research (DMR) designed to accelerate advances in materials research. MIPs respond to the increasing complexity of materials research that requires close collaboration of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary teams and access to cutting edge tools.
USC may only submit one application to this solicitation as lead institution. Potential PIs are advised to contact their Sponsored Projects Office regarding processes used to select proposals for submission.
Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by November 30, 2018. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.
