Spring 2022 Dates Available
Please fill out this form if your organization or office wants to show an outdoor movie this spring! Organization inquiries for screenings will be assessed based on the calendar dates and staffing availability. GPS equipment will be available for rentals in March and April.
Don't have a specific date in mind? Here are a few that we have set aside! Just submit one of these as your date of choice in the form. Dates will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Limited funding is available for departments and organizations to request the use of the GPS equipment as well as the purchasing of the film rights to showcase a film screening on campus.
Please note: use of GPS funds for an event requires the event to be open to all UofSC students.
- Davis Field
- Strom Thurmond Wellness & Fitness Center Pool Deck
- Strom Thurmond Wellness & Fitness Center Intramural Fields
- Blatt Field
- Greene Quad Amphitheatre
- Koger Center Lawn
Have another campus location in mind? Complete our inquiry form and we’ll explore the site! All locations must have access to multiple power sources, adjustable lighting, and controllable irrigation systems.
- Films can be a maximum of PG-13 rating.
- Movies must be requested at least two weeks in advance of proposed date
- Outdoor evening events require additional security
- Inclement Weather/Wind:
- Please note the GPS equipment cannot get wet – or be near a “wet” location, additionally, wind above 10 mph will need to be assessed for equipment and operational safety.
- Weather will be monitored starting 48 hours prior to a scheduled GPS event and a weather call to cancel, relocate and/or postpone the event will be made the morning of the event.
- Reservations are not guaranteed
- Gamecock Entertainment has the right to change the movie date based on other events on the calendar
