Biography:
I was born and brought up in a beautiful village (Dighirpar) in Munshigonj, Bangladesh which influenced me to love literary works in general. My undergraduate years shaped my thinking pattern towards post-colonial studies, and my ten year university teaching experience pushed me to think of a life under the terrible influence of surveillance capitalism. I then worked on surveillance studies at UBC's beautiful Okanagan campus which developed my intellectual capacity and helped me to think of exploring how literary works in the past one hundred years have reflected and shaped our ways of thinking about surveillance. You can check my publication (in _Cultural Logic_) on my interest on surveillance capitalism here: https://ojs.library.ubc.ca/index.php/clogic/article/view/197800/192332

I am now at USC where I will find ways to do more research on Surveillance and literature. I will study more on Marx too.

I have a bike (bicycle) here, and it will bring me closer to people and other animals of distant origins and geographical spaces.

Although my mother never had access to education, she loves that I am getting more and more education. Instead of any material success, she is more happy on my success in education.
