USC geographer awarded prestigious fellowship
Jessica Barnes has been announced as one of the winners of the 2025 Guggenheim Fellowships. An associate professor in the Department of Geography and School of the Earth, Ocean and Environment, she has been at the university since 2013.
Barnes will use the Guggenheim to support research in a working-class neighborhood of West London, documenting how residents move through an environment with high levels of air pollution from outdoor pollutants, such as traffic emissions, as well as indoor irritants, such as mold in public housing.
Congratulations!
