Give to Religious Studies

The Department of Religious Studies is very grateful for the faithful support of friends and colleagues.

How to Give

Giving is simple. Just head to our online giving form to make your gift directly to the Department of Religious Studies. Or you can choose to give to the College of Arts and Sciences Carolina Fund and support a priority funding area or simply write where you'd like to designate your gift in the "other" field.

Religious Studies Educational Foundation Department Fund

The department uses contributions to this fund in hosting guest speakers, seminars, and symposia; in supporting student travel to professional conferences and to libraries and other research sites; and in co-sponsoring events with other USC departments and programs.

Family Fund

Friends and colleagues at the University of South Carolina can make either one-time donations or monthly donations to the Department of Religious Studies through the Family Fund. These donations are deposited in the department’s USC Educational Foundation account.

Bernardin Endowed Chair in Ethical, Moral, and Religious Studies

The Department continues to build funds toward the creation of an endowed chair in honor of South Carolina native Joseph Cardinal Bernardin: the Joseph Cardinal Bernardin Chair in Ethical, Moral and Religious Studies. The Bernardin legacy is characterized by a devotion to interfaith dialogue, serving the needs of the poor and disenfranchised, and addressing the ethical challenges of the modern world.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
