Alumni

We encourage you to stay connected with the College of Social Work alumni community. Even if you live far from campus, you can stay involved by following us on social media, participating in professional development workshops streamed online and more.

Our more than 8,000 alumni contribute to the social work landscape worldwide through service and leadership. They are committed to public service in a variety of career opportunities, including health, immigration, military and substance use disorders. We are also strengthened by alumni who serve as field instructors and workshop presenters for our continuing education programs.

The College of Social Work is committed to maintaining life-long relationships with our alumni. Whether mentoring future social work professionals or providing financial support, you are essential to the continued progress and success of the college.

“Social work is my calling.  I love working to enhance the quality of life for the most vulnerable populations, especially young children and adolescents.  I believe that all people have at least one strength and being able to assist individuals and their communities to see it can make a world of difference in their daily lives. I truly LOVE being a Social Worker.”

Christina Cobb Freeman, LMSW, MSW ’13,  Director of Field Education/Instructor, Social Work, Benedict College
