About this Fellowship

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) offers more than 40 scholarships to students at the undergraduate and graduate level studying mechanical engineering.

Eligibility varies by scholarship. Students must be accepted to or enrolled fulltime in an eligible degree program. Some scholarships are open to international students. Student membership in ASME is required to apply.

Deadlines are typically in March, but be sure to check the competition website for the current cycle’s deadline.


Award Value

Available scholarships range from $1,000 to $13,000.
