My time at UofSC has given me the opportunity to learn who I am, giving me the confidence to achieve anything I put my mind to.

Impactful experience:
One of my most impactful experiences happened outside of the classroom during my study abroad experience when I was sent home from study abroad due to COVID-19. Though my time abroad was very short, I soaked in every second of the experience. Having to navigate back to the United States during the start of a global pandemic was a daunting and somewhat terrifying task, but it taught me that I can make it through just about anything--for that I am grateful.

Enjoy most as a TS:
The thing I enjoy most about being a Top Scholar is the community. Though I definitely regret not utilizing all of my resources as much as I could, it was also so special recognizing a smiling face, having an automatic friend in class, and even just knowing a solid group of people before I moved in freshman year.

Story:
When I came to UofSC, I truly had no idea who I was or what I wanted to do with my life. I never thought that 4 years could impact me so much. Through my professors, advisors, friendships, involvement, and more, I was able to discover my passions as well as learn to love myself. Using this combination to my advantage and this great network of support, I now look to the future in excitement instead of fear. I'm so grateful for a university that has valued me as an individual and always set me up for success. Success was always something I knew I could achieve, I just didn't know how. Thanks to UofSC, now I do. Forever to thee.

Post-graduate plans:
LeAnne will work as a business technology analyst at Capgemini in Nashville, Tennessee after graduation. After a few years in the tech industry, she plans to pursue her MBA.

Career goals/professional aspirations:
I plan to work in the tech industry for a few years before pursuing my Master's, most likely an MBA.  From there, I hope to gain leadership in a business/tech-related company and become a manager or partner.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
