The Garden Club of America offers 29 merit-based scholarships and fellowships in 12 areas related to conservation, ecology, horticulture, and pollinator research. In 2023, over $405,000 were awarded to 86 scholars. Awards range from funding for summer field experience to international graduate study.

Supports eligible undergraduates studying oceanic, environmental, biological, and atmospheric sciences, mathematics, engineering, remote sensing technology, physical and social sciences including geography, physics, hydrology, geomatics, or teacher education that support NOAA's programs and mission. Up to $19,000 for academic expenses (stipend of $9500 each year), as well as a 10-week full-time paid summer internship with a NOAA facility (valued at $7000).
Scholarship for those with a demonstrated record of leadership, public service, and a commitment to careers related to the environment. Up to $7000 for tuition, room, board or other educational expenses, and attendance at 4-day annual Udall Scholar Orientation in Tuscon AZ.
