About this Fellowship
The Milkweed Fellowship is a 1 - 2 year opportunity to receive training and mentoring in the book publishing industry. Central to the fellowship's philosophy is the belief that books have the power to inspire change. Compensation includes a $40,000/year salary plus medical and dental benefits.
Candidates from backgrounds historically underrepresented in the publishing industry are especially encouraged to apply.
Milkweed Editions is committed to providing a paid opportunity that is a pathway to a career in the publishing world. The fellow will work 40 hours a week at Milkweed Editions' Minneapolis office and learn about/participate in all stages of the book publication process.
Applications are accepted March 11 - May 13 2024. The fellowship will begin by September at the latest.
