University of South Carolina

Once your application for admission to USC is on file with us, it's time to start thinking about where you want to live on campus and who will share your space so you can fill out a housing application.

Looking for a New Roommate?

When you complete the questions in the housing application and create your personal profile, you can use your profile to participate in our roommate matching process and find potentially great new friends.

Once you receive your housing and roommate assignment, you'll want to follow up with a personal contact. You might also agree to meet at one of USC's summer orientation sessions and decide what each of you wants to bring or what you can share to make your living experience the most enjoyable for everyone.

Already Know Your Roommate?

If you and up to three of your current friends all plan to attend USC and want to room together, each of you must fill out your housing application listing the others as preferred roommates.

Although we can't guarantee the outcome, USC makes every attempt to assign roommates based on the information you provide in your housing application.
