Capstone Scholars

Dear Students and Parents:

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Capstone Scholars Program at the University of South Carolina. Through our program, students are challenged both inside and outside the classroom to become the best that they can be. Capstone Scholars develop life-long relationships with both students and faculty, engage themselves in their community, and have fun!

Our Capstone Consultations (where we meet one-on-one with each student each semester), social events, service opportunities, study abroad and undergraduate research experiences and grants, small group discussions, and workshops are but a few of the events that help our students to get to know each other, but more importantly, themselves. We make it a priority to provide support while having as much face time with the students as possible. We strive to make the Capstone Scholars Program a place where students feel like they are connected to the University of South Carolina and the community.

One of our recent initiatives includes providing an opportunity for parents and University of South Carolina Capstone Scholars alumni to directly support our goal in developing undergraduate research grants, study abroad grants, special program funding, and special needs for Capstone Scholars. I would like to direct you to the link at the left side of our page to find out more how you can "Support Capstone Scholars".

I look forward to meeting and greeting our prospective students, and families. Feel free to call and/or email us if you have any questions.
