What is my PIN?
Your default PIN is your month/day of birth; for example, if your
birthday is 02/12/64, your initial PIN will be 0212.
Requesting your PIN be reset
If you forget your PIN or if your PIN is revoked, please
contact your Human Resources departmental representative to
reset your PIN. If you do not know your HR contact, see the
information at the bottom of this document.
When your PIN is reset, it is imperative that you immediately
change your PIN from the reset value to a secure PIN of your
choosing (refer back to the previous discussion of Change PIN
for Faculty/Staff function).
Your PIN can be disabled via your Human Resources contact if
you do not intend to use this on-line personal data system.
NOTE: PIN resets are effective upon notification of reset
completion.
Does my PIN expire?
No, treat your PIN like your ATM. If you think your PIN has been
compromised, then change it immediately.
The system says that my PIN is 'Disabled by request'. What does this mean?
This means that HR has received written notification to disable your
PIN. To re-activate your PIN, you will need to request in writing
that HR re-activate your PIN. If you have questions about this
procedure, call 777-2543.
To find out who the Human Resources contact is for your department
please contact Human Resources at 777-3527 or 777-3111 or contact
the Computer Services Service Center at 777-1800.
