Continuing Education through AHEC
This nursing continuing education activity has been approved for **3.0 hours. Mid-Carolina AHEC is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by The South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission of Accreditation.
This program has been approved by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners for **3.0 clock hours of social work continuing education.
COUNSELORS AND THERAPISTS:
This program has been approved for **3.0 hours of continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors, Marital and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists.
This program qualifies for **3.0 hours of Non AAMA continuing education for re-certification.
This program has been approved for **3.6 contact hours of continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy. (Based on a 50-minute hour)
This program has been approved for **3.6 contact hours of continuing education for Occupational Therapists. SC AHEC has presumptive approval as a provider of continuing education for Occupational Therapists by the SC Board of Examiners for Occupational Therapy. (Based on a 50-minute hour)
This program has applied for **3.0 hours of continuing education for Speech Pathologists by the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Board of Speech Pathologists and Audiologists. Note: See AHSA credit instructions in a separate box on this page.
LONG TERM CARE ADMINISTRATORS:
Mid-Carolina AHEC, Inc. has applied for credit through the South Carolina Board of Long Term Care Administrators for **3.0 hours. In order to receive (3) contact hours, you must attend three (3) concurrent sessions.
MID-CAROLINA AHEC, Inc.
This program is approved for ** 0.3 CEUs (**3.0 clock hours) of continuing education by Mid-Carolina AHEC and meets the SC AHEC Best Practices Standards. Participants must attend 90% of the program in order to receive a certificate or attendance. No partial credit will be given.
** In order to receive 3 credit hours, you must attend three (3) concurrent sessions. Certificates will be distributed at the conclusion of each concurrent session. To receive a certificate an evaluation form must be turned in to the moderator/facilitator for that session.
