Description: In this training participants will learn more information about the assistive technology available to read books and other print materials. We will explore literacy websites that offer various resources for making reading more accessible to all learners. We will go over the exact criteria needed to get a Bookshare account and how books can be searched for, requested, and downloaded through various formats. We will also go over Don Johnston’s Read:OutLoud text-to-speech program that is included with your Bookshare account.
This workshop has a maximum of 15 participants.
This training is in the Assistive Technology Resource Center, so no food or drink please.
Cost: Free, but pre-registration is required.
