The Honors Experience
Bringing together students from all across the university, Honors classrooms are interdisciplinary intersections of curiosity. Honors educational experiences typically include in-class and extracurricular activities that are measurably broader, deeper, or more complex than comparable higher education learning experiences. The Honors classroom fosters a learner-directed environment, encouraging students to see themselves as contributing agents to their education. Often times, Honors enables inventive and experiential education practices that would be difficult or impossible to implement in the traditional classroom.
