This fall students, faculty and staff can volunteer for a special Habitat for Humanity project. The house rehabilitation in Cayce, S.C., will be funded by the proceeds from last year's Give It Up for Good program, which raised nearly $10,000.

Students, faculty or staff members who volunteer will make cosmetic updates to the house and build an addition that includes a master bedroom and bath, a new front porch and kitchen. The work will take place over 12 consecutive Saturdays, beginning Saturday, Sept. 6 and ending Saturday, Nov. 22. Project organizers are seeking five volunteers per shift, which are scheduled 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. Carpools from campus will be arranged.
