Care package drive supports military

Veterans Day is Tuesday, Nov. 11. Show your support for Gamecock veterans by signing up for the Nov. 13 Green Zone training and contributing items to the Student Veterans Association’s Care Package Drive.
Green Zone Trainings will provide participants with the following:

An understanding of the military experience and emotional cycle of deployment.

An understanding of the potential issues facing undergraduate student veterans as they transition from the military to our campus.

An awareness of the resources available to undergraduate student veterans on and off our campus.
Items will be collected at the Veterans Day Breakfast in the Russell House Ballroom, 7:30 - 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11 for a military care package drive. The association will also collect donations Nov. 10-14 in the Student Success Center, located on the Mezzanine Level of Thomas Cooper Library, and in the Office of Veteran Services, located at 1244 Blossom St.
