The Division of Law Enforcement and Safety will host its third annual Stuff the Police Car event Dec. 4-5 to benefit the Toys for Tots Foundation, an outreach effort of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

A police car will be located in front of the Russell House University Union on Greene Street. Officers will accept unwrapped toys from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. each day.

“Community service is an integral part of the university and the Division of Law Enforcement and Safety. Please join us to help children in need this holiday season,” Capt. Eric Grabski says.

Grabski says toys will be accepted through Dec. 12. Donations will be accepted weekdays 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. at the University Police Department at the 1600 Hampton St. Annex.

The event, one of many community outreach programs by the University Police Department, complements other holiday service offerings on campus, including Carolina Cares organized by the Carolina Service Council.
