In today’s technology-centric world, data breach is a very real threat.  Not only is the university a target for cyber criminals, but individuals are a frequent target as well.  Some consumers may feel powerless.  But with the right knowledge and training, users can be empowered to protect themselves.

To help full-time UofSC faculty and staff members learn more about how to better protect their interests, the SecureCarolina project team has made SANS Institute’s Securing the Human awareness training available.  By opting to view any of the 44 short video modules, users can learn valuable skills like building strong passwords or how to keep your kids safe on the Web.

To participate in Securing the Human, visit the website and login using your official university network username and password.
