Mortar Board honors faculty

The Alpha Chapter of Mortar Board at the university presented the 2014-15 Excellence in Teaching Awards to faculty members across the university. 

Mortar Board is an honors organization for seniors based on distinguished leadership ability, scholarship and community service with a spirit for creating a positive impact.

Since 1988, Mortar Board Senior Honor Society members have recognized and acknowledged professors who have contributed to their success at the university. Through the years, faculty members have been recognized for their motivation to educate, enlighten and inspire their students. The single criterion for the award is "excellence in teaching."

Mary Wagner, admissions; Lucille Mould, retired instructor of languages, literatures, and cultures; and Lynne Mack, Carolina Card, are advisers to Alpha Chapter of Mortar Board at UofSC.
