Global Carolina Curriculum Grants

Application Deadline: February 28, 2019

USC’s Global Carolina seeks to further the internationalization of the curriculum of the University of South Carolina, preparing our students to participate in a diverse, interconnected world and to face the challenges of the twenty-first century. To this end, it invites full-time administrators and faculty members to submit proposals to internationalize an existing course. The goal of these grants is to assist faculty in developing and implementing globally themed content to incorporate sustainable international education into the curriculum. Faculty are encouraged to create disciplinary and cross-disciplinary course modules, activities, projects and other course materials that implement the globalization of course content.

A committee chaired by the Director of Global Carolina will award proposals. That committee consists of the directors of the Center for Teaching Excellence, International Student Services, Study Abroad, and the Walker Institute.

Funded by: USC Global Carolina, Office of the Provost.
