Awareness of, and sensitivity to, social, cultural, and linguistic differences. A lifelong, learning-oriented approach to working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and a recognition of power dynamics in health care (Tervalon & murray-Garcias, 1998).

Make connections between ideas and concepts across different disciplinary boundaries. Interprofessional training will prepare you for graduate and professional study, and for careers in new and emerging fields.
