The Office of Research is pleased to announce a new, comprehensive workshop designed to prepare graduate students and postdocs to write competitive grant proposals. The Grant Basics Workshop will cover strategies for grant writing success and provide guidance on how to develop a grant budget and justification. In addition, a panel of past SPARC and ASPIRE IIB faculty reviewers will discuss the proposal review process from the perspective of the reviewer.
The Grant Basics Workshop will be offered on Wednesday, October 21 from 1:00 – 4:30 pm in the Russell House Theater. Registration for this workshop is encouraged but not required. By registering ahead of time, students will ensure that they will receive content updates, and enjoy a speedy sign-in process at the workshop. If you register for the workshop, but are later unable to attend, you do not need to notify the Office of Research that you won't be attending.
