The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to issue the call for nominations for all three of our signature Breakthrough awards:
- Breakthrough Leadership in Research for senior faculty members
- Breakthrough Stars for early-career faculty members
- Breakthrough Graduate Scholars for outstanding graduate students
Complete information—including nomination guidelines and materials for each award—have been posted on the dedicated award pages linked above. Nominations for all three awards are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015.
This timing is a departure from past years when the Office of Research sought nominations for the different Breakthrough awards at different times of year. For 2016, all Breakthrough nominations are due on November 6, and all award recipients will be announced early in the spring semester and honored at special recognition events later in the spring.
