The Office of the Vice President for Research will offer a three-hour workshop on National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant proposal resubmission on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, in the Close-Hipp building, Lumpkin Auditorium (eighth floor).
This workshop will help UofSC faculty members who are considering resubmission understand the strategy, rules and processes involved in revising and resubmitting an NIH proposal. The NIH Resubmission Workshop will include detailed discussion on
- NIH revision rules
- Understanding the summary statement
- Responding to reviewer comments and revising the proposal
Registration is required by Thursday, January 20, 2022, to attend the workshop. Workshop attendees are encouraged to arrive at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast pastries, coffee and networking. Limited free parking will be available in the lot adjacent to Close-Hipp (entrance on the Barnwell Street side of the lot). A parking attendant will be on hand to direct workshop participants; be sure to tell the attendant you are there for the NIH Resubmission Workshop.
