The GRANT Certificate Program offers foundational education, training and resources
for research administrators. The program provides an overview of the grant life cycle
taught by subject matter experts from across campus.
About the Program
The Gamecock Research Administrators Network Training (GRANT) Certificate Program
prepares research administrators to work with faculty in their departments to manage
the administrative functions related to grants and sponsored awards. This certificate
program complements the national standards established by the National Council of
University Research Administrators (NCURA).
To earn a GRANT certificate, participants must complete a series of classes, electives
and pass a comprehensive final exam. GRANT program is offered every fall semester.
Each course includes a lecture, practical activities and participant-driven discussions. A
graduation ceremony is held to recognize participants and the Vice President for Research
presents the certificates.
Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
