Admitted Student Day

Join us and your future classmates for Admitted Student Day at the University of South Carolina! During this comprehensive on-campus event, you'll get a better feel for life as a Gamecock before it's time to make your final college decision.

Admitted Student Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 26; Saturday, March 23 and Saturday, April 6. The events are free of charge and open only to admitted high school students and two guests.

Campus Tours

Take a walking tour led by our University Ambassadors to experience our beautiful campus, including our historic Horseshoe, learn about our thriving city and ask questions.

Academic Information Sessions

Join faculty and staff for specialized academic sessions from your colleges of interest.

Resource Fair

Meet one-on-one with representatives from various student services departments, including the Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships, Study Abroad, Student Success Center and many more, all in one convenient location.

Special Interest Sessions

Attend our rotating special interest sessions covering a variety of topics including new student orientation, student life, our award-winning University 101 program, living and learning communities and diversity and inclusion.

Residence Hall Visits

Tour select residence halls where student representatives from on-campus housing will share their experiences as Gamecocks.

Wellness & Fitness Center

Take a self-guided tour of our world-class fitness facility, and outdoor pool and community area.


Please note: Admitted Student Day is not a first-year orientation program. The purpose of this event is for admitted students to tour the campus, ask questions and meet other high school seniors who are considering attending the university. Orientation for students who pay the enrollment deposit will take place over the summer.
