The Wordification project (Stanley Dubinsky, PI) has won a grant from the South Carolina Research Authority ($15,000) for ongoing work developing their user-centered on-line instructional tool that provides K-3 students with teacher directed individualized spelling instruction and exposure to a variety of dialects, with targeting of likely spelling errors. The funding will continue to support student work on the tool, with the goal of upcoming pilot sessions in South Carolina schools.
