Shannon Smith holds graduate degrees in Religious Studies and Library and Information Science and is an alumnus of the University of South Carolina’s Department of Religious Studies. Her areas of concentration in the classroom are comparative religious studies and Christian thought. When she is not in the classroom, she works in archives and preservation. Shannon has taught in the University of South Carolina system since 2010.
