A popular meeting place, the cafe is located in the Student Union Building. We have a variety of food options for both breakfast and lunch ranging from grab-n-go bagels and yogurt, to made-to-order eggs, delicious biscuits, one of a kind cheeseburgers, club sandwiches, salads, cheese steaks and much more.

Fall 2023 Meal Plans

Interested in signing up for a meal plan? We offer several options to fit any budget. Go to Self Service Carolina, click on Account Info, select the term, select your plan and submit the form.

Meal Plans can be paid for using one of the following methods: Cash, Check, Money Order, Credit Card or Refund Deduction. Refund deduction payments are made automatically out of your account. All other forms of payment must be arranged with Windy Brown in the Fire Ant Cafe. Plans are valid for one semester. Plan funds must be used in the designated semester. Balances will not carry over and remaining balances are not refunded.

Our Location

The Fire Ant Cafe is located in the Student Union Building on the USC Sumter campus. The Student Union Building (SUB) is located between the Nettles Building and the Anderson Library. Parking is available in several lots for Fire Ant Cafe visitors. Feel free to park in the lot next to the Anderson Library or the lot behind the Student Union and Library (off of Theater Drive).
