Be an active participant in the Gamecock game day experience, traveling to perform at other great stadiums throughout the Southeastern Conference and traveling to support the Gamecocks at postseason games like the SEC Championship Game and bowl games. The “Mighty Sound of the Southeast” performs in front of 80,000-plus crowds of Gamecock fans each and every week and is the largest and most visible student organization on campus. Members of the Carolina Band are majors from virtually every school at the university and most members are majoring in something other than music. All members of the Carolina Band receive a scholarship for marching in the band and there is no fundraising involved for this activity.
