Tigerburn is tonight
Tigerburn, the University of South Carolina’s annual pep rally before the game against Clemson, will take place at 5:30 p.m. Monday, November 22, on the intramural field at 743 Greene Street.
The event is free and open to the public.
The highlight of the rally is the traditional torching of a gigantic tiger. Standing nearly 20 feet tall, the tiger is designed and built by a team of undergraduate students under the direction of Dr. Abdel Bayoumi, professor of mechanical engineering in USC’s College of Engineering and Computing.
Tigerburn will feature Cocky and the Gamecock cheerleaders, the pep band, Homecoming Step Show winners and, of course, the tiger.
