
Distinguished Chicago artist and critic to visit USC
Michelle Grabner, a professor and department chair in the department of painting and drawing at the Art Institute of Chicago, will visit to USC’s department of art April 20 - 22.
She will work with painting students and give a lecture in the McKissick Museum auditorium April 21 at 5:30 p.m. The talk will include Grabner’s personal experiences in the art profession and offer guidance to young students.
In addition to being a recognized art instructor, Grabner is an achieved artist who has exhibited work in Chicago, New York City and California. She is a distinguished art critic and writer for ArtForum, an international art review magazine, and has been a visiting artist at universities and institutions across the country.
